Persian Calligraphy Open House at Chalipa
Chalipa Art Centre hosts a free evening open house for Persian calligraphy, inviting visitors to experience the art, ask questions, and spend time with a creative practice rooted in Persian visual culture.

Shab-e She'r (Poetry Night) CXXIII at Tranzac Club
Shab-e She'r returns to the Living Room at Tranzac Club for its 123rd poetry night, with featured poets Sneha Subramanian Kanta and Ted Landrum plus an open mic for poetry in any language. Open-mic signup starts at 6:30 PM at the venue, followed by the 7:00-10:00 PM show. Admission is $10-20 sliding scale, paid in cash at the door.

Iranian Ethnics Festival 2026 in Little Iran
A two-day Persian cultural festival in Toronto's Little Iran celebrating Iranian and multicultural communities through music, arts, food, handicrafts, local businesses, and community partners. Councillor Lily Cheng and the Persian Fashion & Art Society are community partners. The festival runs July 25 and 26, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM at 15 Centre Ave in North York.

Summer Threads: Persian Kilim Weaving Workshop
Toranj Art Workshops hosts a guided Persian kilim weaving workshop at Orkid Galley Collection in North York. Participants work on a summer-themed handwoven piece while learning basic kilim patterning, texture, and finishing techniques. Tickets are CA$75.88, and this date is one of two July sessions.
