Nostos by Mohammad Yaghoubi at Toronto Fringe
Nowadays Theatre presents the world premiere of Nostos, a 75-minute dark comedy written and directed by acclaimed Iranian Canadian playwright Mohammad Yaghoubi, as part of the 2026 Toronto Fringe Festival. Performances begin with the July 2 show and continue through July 11.

Simorgh Pride March 2026

Pezhvak Performing Arts Club presents the second session in its Shahnameh and Persian literature series, focused on the story of Bijan and Manijeh. Speaker Fariba Raeisi will guide a reading and discussion of this romantic episode from Ferdowsi's Shahnameh for Persian literature, Shahnameh, and Iranian culture audiences in Richmond Hill.
