Reading Hafez for My Mother - Live Recording
A musical performance at Pamenar built around 93 couplets by the 14th-century Persian poet Hafez, reimagined as songs with English translations recited between pieces. Music is by Sina Salimi, and this is the second and final live recording of Reading Hafez for My Mother.
Iranian Ethnics Festival 2026 in Little Iran
A two-day Persian cultural festival in Toronto's Little Iran celebrating Iranian and multicultural communities through music, arts, food, handicrafts, local businesses, and community partners. Councillor Lily Cheng and the Persian Fashion & Art Society are community partners. The festival runs July 25 and 26, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM at 15 Centre Ave in North York.
